Prayer paintings

The Healing Tree goes to Hebron!

“ This painting is mesmerizing and healing….The Healing Tree”.  Thank you God, for your faithfulness.”  Brenda Harmon on Instagram

Last week I was honored to minister to some dear friends through art.

I took the “Healing Tree”  and met my sweet Casey and precious Alex under the pine trees of Hebron.

We brought paint, canvas, and hearts filled with prayers for a special person in their lives.

We talked about water, waves, and the depth of God’s great love for us.

We painted the sun, the sand, the beach- one of their favorite places to go.

“ I AM the LORD your God.”

Rainbows filled with God’s promises.

And a colorful mountain scene and sunset.

“The Lord is your everlasting light.”

God is in the prayers and praises over the paintings.

Psalm 28:6-9 says:

Praise the Lord!
For he has heard my cry for mercy.
7 The Lord is my strength and shield.
I trust him with all my heart.
He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy.
I burst out in songs of thanksgiving.

8 The Lord gives his people strength.
He is a safe fortress for his anointed king.
9 Save your people!
Bless Israel, your special possession.[a]
Lead them like a shepherd,
and carry them in your arms forever.

…and this is my prayer…
