World Communion is a time when we celebrate ONEness through communion with other nations and nationalities.

  Scripture says: Ephesians 4:3-6

3 Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace. 4 For there is one body and one Spirit, just as you have been called to one glorious hope for the future. 5 There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism,6 and one God and Father, who is over all and in all and living through all.

We are to keep ourselves united ( together)  in the Spirit- the Spirit of the Living God.

We are to bind  ( tie ourselves up) ourselves together with PEACE.  The peace that comes from the Living God is also the peace that passes all understanding.

We must live in the Spirit and doing so takes intentional effort.  We must  make every effort- a commitment- to commune with God on a daily basis.  Most days we don’t give enough of ourselves to doing this and we miss out on hearing from God.  Communing is just another way of saying, “ spend time with me.”  We are commanded to “eat the scroll” -which means to read the Word of God.  If we aren’t doing that- we should think about starting.  When we do-we realize we have missed a meal or two and God begins to increase our hunger for His manna- His Word.

God is calling ALL people to commune with Him-all people from every nation and tribe to come into His Presence.  When we do this together God is glorified and the curtain of darkness is lifted.  God wants you to come into His presence and have a relationship with Him.  He truly does love you-just the way you are…right now.

You don’t have to DO anything-just be yourself and come in…

I am the mom of three beautiful daughters, wife to a genius, sister to a teacher, sis-in-law to an engineer, daughter to a yankee and a rebel, and a woman chasing God. I love to read, draw and be with my family. If the reading inspires me, then I draw what I read. Almost everything I draw is based around or about Jesus Christ. I attend church at First United Methodist Hillsville. Ronnie Collins is my associate pastor, also a blogger here. I love the Lord with all my heart and I hope what you see here will inspire your heart.
