Michael told us to go outside to find some things that we could decorate and make an altar out of. We were to think about how each thing applied to what we were making- a Holy Table. Rocks, sticks, moss, and even an old soup pan…
The kids had fun scouting for their objects ! It was a beautiful day!
Here is our offering to the Holy Table…isn’t it beautiful? Michael told a story about how we come from a “long line of love.” He talked about Abraham and his descendants and I will blog about that in a separate post. He told us about the history of Camp Dickenson and the long line of love that lives in the history of the camp. I was quite taken by the stories and this is where I heard Michael’s passion come out. I even got teary eyed! No surprise there! Haha!
Thank you Michael, you are a blessing to all of us and we appreciate all of the work you do at the camp and for God!
The next post will be about the last project we completed- my favorite!
Don’t miss it!
