Aldersgate UMC, Marion, IL
you have called us to live in this land,
to serve a people in need;
you called us to teach,
you called us to preach
and to plant just one little seed.
You called us to leave the familiar behind
and forsake our comfortable pew.
The harvest is plentiful,
time is short,
and laborers are few.
Our hands are firmly planted in Yours,
we know You’ll supply every need;
We’re called by Your power.
We’re called by Your love to follow wherever You lead.
“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or fields for my sake will receive a hundred times as much and will inherit eternal life.”
This was read at the UMW meeting this past week. I loved it so much I wanted to share it with you!
