Surrender

Standard

During last week’s worship service I was so moved by the presence of the Holy Spirit that I just closed my eyes and envisioned myself holding my heart high in the air-surrendering my all to God Almighty.    This is a poor picture of what I saw in my head-but you get the idea.  I surrender all

Our praise and worship team has a ministry that is pulling people into church to hear the word of God through song.   They play with such passion that it is hard not to be moved by the Spirit.  Each person on the team gives their whole being to the worship and it shows.

The team leader is a wonderful example of humility and grace.  He has a gift for worship, words & prayers and he senses when to move and when to stand still.  He is very in tune to God.

I just want to say THANK YOU to the team for all the time you spend on the music in practice and in worship.  You are ministering to people you may not even know about-and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart.

You all are a blessing to us!

About godw1nz

I am the mom of three beautiful daughters, wife to a genius, sister to a teacher, sis-in-law to an engineer, daughter to a yankee and a rebel, and a woman chasing God. I love to read, draw and be with my family. If the reading inspires me, then I draw what I read. Almost everything I draw is based around or about Jesus Christ. I attend church at First United Methodist Hillsville. Ronnie Collins is my associate pastor, also a blogger here. I love the Lord with all my heart and I hope what you see here will inspire your heart.
