All I need-JOIN US!

This is a beautiful song about what we need to be complete….

It would be a beautiful song to play softly during communion…can you see it now?  Lights down low, candles lit in groups, flames flickering gently in the silence and beauty of the moment.   God’s people communing together.  I can see an old wooden cross gracefully draped with a beautiful red cloth as Jay and Laura sit underneath, softly singing and playing this beautiful song of all that we need…

I see people with their hands out, anxious to receive the blood and body of Christ.

We receive.

Some weeping, some somber, some filled with joy while others melt in forgiveness.

I see Pastor Ronnie in his jeans and on his knees.  He kneels in utmost reverence and awe, on the wooden floor, as a young man bends down in prayer to receive Christ as his Lord and Savior.  I see tears sliding down the tired and worried face of the young man’s mother as she raises her arms in praise and thanksgiving to God.   Her joy is overwhelming!  I hear people praying  and I feel the presence of the Holy Spirit moving in and out with every breath being taken in the room.

Can you see it?

Can you feel it?

God is here.

Join us…Sunday, December 5th, 2010  at 9:30 am at OOTBWC on Main Street in Hillsville.  We will meet you there!

About godw1nz

I am the mom of three beautiful daughters, wife to a genius, sister to a teacher, sis-in-law to an engineer, daughter to a yankee and a rebel, and a woman chasing God. I love to read, draw and be with my family. If the reading inspires me, then I draw what I read. Almost everything I draw is based around or about Jesus Christ. I attend church at First United Methodist Hillsville. Ronnie Collins is my associate pastor, also a blogger here. I love the Lord with all my heart and I hope what you see here will inspire your heart.
