#2 Pentecost Baptisms May 23, 2010-Camp Dickenson

Mr. Luther Clyburn of Jordan’s Chapel

This man’s countenance was one of complete reverence and determination to make it into the river-no matter what.  It was a beautiful moment and the picture captured it perfectly.  The cleansing water of baptism caresses Mr. Clyburn’s body as the hands and feet of the body of Christ embrace him.  This is what Christ is and what Christ does through us when we live in him!  Thanks be to God!

Mr. Clyburn making his way into the New River by the help of many hands.

baptism is ageless

The strong hands of the Clergy of Wytheville District…

The interlocking clasp of Christ-always at the ready.

The trust and power in the baptism of the body.

The sure fitted feet, heart, body, mind and soul…ready for service to our Father in Heaven.

You are never too old to be baptized.   God bless you Mr. Clyburn!

8And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

2 corinthians 9:8

About godw1nz

I am the mom of three beautiful daughters, wife to a genius, sister to a teacher, sis-in-law to an engineer, daughter to a yankee and a rebel, and a woman chasing God. I love to read, draw and be with my family. If the reading inspires me, then I draw what I read. Almost everything I draw is based around or about Jesus Christ. I attend church at First United Methodist Hillsville. Ronnie Collins is my associate pastor, also a blogger here. I love the Lord with all my heart and I hope what you see here will inspire your heart.
